He has no quit and will keep coming.

He's not the prettiest boxer, and he lacks that killer power needed, so it's easy to score against him, but nobody comes out of a Ryder fight feeling it was easy.
Except canelo I guess. Cause from what I saw that was one of canelos easiest fights of his whole career lol

Canelo is getting past of his best days and he looks bored. He has lots of money and businesses. He should retire, get fat and enjoy his life.

Ryder was a tough punching bag who also gave to the gingerboy some fists.

Nobody wants to see Canelo and Bivol 2 except Canelo after that. I think he needs to stay away from him. Bivol will toy with him for twelve rounds.

John is a bit of an oddment , he's a pressure fighter with average power , he's tough , strong and game and against lesser opponents this makes him a handful but against Canelo it was never going to be enough , he didn't have the tools, he wasn't going to win on points or stop him but did well to avoid being stooped himself .Even wining a round or two late on as Canelo clearly tired.I am not sure this makes John 'world class' as Eddie promotes as he was on the end of a pretty brutal 'world class' beating.

At least Ryder wasn’t soft like those other Brit’s at 168 but don’t get it twisted, he’s not world class. A close to washed up Canelo still beat him decisively.

Dude was a human punching bag for most of the night. Canelo couldn't miss him with his punches. Which is the first sign of an aging fighter; The loss of stamina. He just didn't have enough gas in the engine to put John Ryder away.

Ryder showed a lot of resilience in that fight. He had a game plan and had occasional success. They didn't want to go to Canelo's left and kept going to the right to avoid the hook. He got knocked down and came back firing. Good performance by Ryder.

Canelo didn't have the elusive head movement and was not countering like he used to.

Ryder has been world class. Shouldāve been champion already. Rest up and recover champ. Didnāt like the gameplan, but a display of amazing grit. Will look forward to Ryder’s next fight.
