Canelo is held to a fair standard. Very good boxer. Top name in the sport.

He has lost to his 3 best opponents, by a wide margin, in the opinion of most fans, despite what the judges scores are.

I think that is why he is expected to destroy a lesser fighter like Ryder. Had he defeated Bivol or GGG like this, I don’t think people would be critical.
