I know, he should've done what Gomez, Perez and Morrell Jr did. In any case his time is now and he can't waste any. Be safe

Morrell Jr. & Ortiz are the absolute anomalies…

Rest of them Cubans are overwhelmingly snoozers..

this guy is very much in the mold of another Lara

I'm curious who he'll fight. Eddie doesn't have any lightweights. Thought for sure he would sign with TR or PBC.

Did you know Lara has been in two of the year fights? Has you seen Yoelvis Gomez, Pablo Vicente, Ariel Perez, Kevin Brown, and like another dozen that defected in Dubai, under 19yo all of them, fight? You don't know crap about Cuban boxing, just post about what you know. Morell and Ortiz anomalies, you should go to a National tournament in Cuba, you will see what real wars in the ring look like.

              This is a great signing.

Andy Cruz is a showman and seriously skilled.

His biggest problem in the pros may be that he's very much backfoot and doesn't seem to have killer power, but dude is almost impossible to land on.

Might need to learn to set his feet and look for a KO in the pros if he wants to sell tickets, otherwise he'll quickly join the 'I don't need to fight him club'.

Bare in mind this guy has beat Keyshawn Davis at least 4 times in the AMs.

Loma debuted at the same age and he had a pretty solid career. If Andy sticks with a single division, he could potentially have a even better one.

Great signing. he should be thrown in Lomachenko style and fight for titles in his first few fights, not happening though. Eddie and Matchroom feed their potential stars with no hopers for years before stepping up..
