Why has the HW division been so bad?

If you want to watch proper Heavyweight fights i would suggest you watch the Cruiserweight division. The biggest problem for most heavyweights is terrible conditioning. I think Brewster was the guy involved in the last exciting heavyweight title fights.

I've been watching HW boxing since the mid-70's and outside of a couple of fighters near the top, the division was always filled with overweight or limited palooka's.

Also the best fighters playing in the NFL or NBA is pure BS! Those leagues were just as black in the 70's, 80's, 90's as they are now. The fall of the Soviet Union unleashed a pack of talented HW's who weren't allowed to compete previously, so quit using the "other sport" LAME cop-out...
