You can't smoke and drive it impairs your thought patterns which will affect your ability to drive. I know in the jurisdiction where I live you can't have weed within reach of the driver(nor alcohol).

Right, but he was not pulled over for driving erratically.He was pulled over for tinted windows, he was not charged for driving impaired or under the influence.The “smell” of weed gave them reason to search which IMHO is dumb, you can smoke a blunt or two and the smell will be there for a while.

Weed is legal in CA…Why would they care about blunt smoke? I’ve literally walked down Sepulveda smoking weed while cops were around.

That makes zero sense to me also? Why search a car for legal weed? And pulled over at night for window tint? This will be dropped. Illegal search.

California is a ******* **** hole... Wilder is a gun guy from Alabama. California has the worst Gun Laws yet illegal guns run rampant everywhere and citizens are discouraged from protecting themselves. Its a shame really.

Don't even really need a good lawyer for getting seached over legal weed. All they had to do was ask him to do a DUI test and let him go with a ticket for the tint.I hope Wilder didn't Thank- them. I see fools always thanking cops for giving them a ticket.

I get the feeling it’ll be a plea deal. The search is probably above board, but contentious enough that it’d make sense for all sides to avoid a trial.

I dont believe you can smoke weed and drive here. I think thats considered a DUI. Search may or may not be illegal after that. But either way its just a misdemeanor concealed firearm. (the first time). ALso if it was loaded (which it probably was) thats another misdemeanor.
