I hope Ryan pivots to Manny Robles.
An yes, the Manny Robles who couldn’t get Andy Ruiz to stop binge drinking Coronas and actually show up for training AFTER WINNING the biggest fight of his career - so much so that the guy came in nearly 30 pounds heavier for the Joshua rematch. That’s the Manny Robles who is going to motivate a diva like Ryan Garcia who is coming off LOSING the biggest fight of his career and getting exposed as pretty much all talk and hype.

    OK, sure.

Goosen used to train Garcia in the amateurs. After Garcia left Reynoso, I think he went to Goosen because he was already comfortable with him.

Goossen taught the same techniques to Malik Scott as he did Ryan… take the 10 count, let’s go get some bourbon -

I can't blame Ryan for this. Not that Joe Goosen isn't a good trainer or failed to give him good instructions in the corner, but he left Ryan hanging at the post fight press. What's his excuse? Did he have a medical emergency? I don't care of it's the greatest trainer in the world, if the guy can't be there for me on the post fight press after a loss, I'd be walking away too from that arrangement.

If I'm not mistaken, Ryan's dad was in the corner for the Tank fight, and Goosen swore at his dad to move out of his way.

So was it that, in addition to bad gameplans, that Team Garcia will no longer work with Joe. Or did Ryan just do his own thing, ignoring Goosen.

The no-show at the post fight press conference probably was not the final straw. I think things were a bit sour before that. Ryan would probably leave Golden Boy now as well, unless he's under an airtight contract.

Instead of throwing wide looping shots throw straight shots. Instead of keep your head exposed straight up in the air tuck your chin and hold the phone. And always know where your feet are at all times. That's why Tank was smiling the entire fight because he knew his foot placement was superior to Ryans. Go to TMT Ryan, piss everyone off!
Canelo is not Black boxer style, he actually knocks people out and is flat footed. He is a good pressure counter puncher.

Exactly Oscar has proven himself.. the money Ryan made off this fight is undeniable

Ryan will be the unquestioned primary focus of GBP going forward.. he won’t receive this treatment anywhere else.. its a winning formula.. notice Canelo career has trended downward since leaving GBP

yeah the Manny Robles that trained Ruiz to becoming the first Mexican Heavyweight world champ in the history of the sport..

Ryan doesn’t need any motivation from anyone.. he has the thirst for greatness why he took such a handicapped deal in order to give the fans what they want.. salute to Ryan!!

Thats why he rushed the tank fight and agreed to all demands, he wanted to get payed and get out.

Good riddance cuz he'll just quit again.
And if he wins its all the things they would be saying were such a great move, funny thing with winning or losing, the narrative is a flip-flop depending on which way it goes, kudos or excuses.

Changing trainers is often the beginning of the end, its not the trainer but they gotta blame somebody for why things failed.
