I heard these words for the great Lou Duva on Fernando Vargas leaving him. He said Vargas left, because he stopped learning! He thinks he knows it all about boxing. Vargas was the same age as Garcia when this happened 2 years later his career was literally over at the hands of season champ Trinidad. Goosen said it all through the camp, You don’t train Ryan, he has his own ideas! The kid was told not to take so many speculations on the Davis fight and he brushed them all off. Garcia has very weak fundamentals. He drops his hands and exposes his chin, you don’t fight a southpaw going to his left! He doesn’t want to learn and he won’t unless he admits that his defense sucks and his offense has a lot to be desired!

Yeah all Joe kept saying was how talented Ryan was an that he's never seen a fighter more talented before etc he just seemed like a hype man not a trainer. If Ryan is serious then he'll go an find a trainer that will help him develop as a fighter an add more to his game. Because the game plan he came out with against tank no world class trainer would of told him to do that. Not saying he would of won regardless but the mistakes an flaws were so evident

No trainer can give him heart, so what's the difference?

Here's what I don't understand is, how did 3 dumbasses mention Floyd Sr. as a possible coach? Have they even kept up with boxing or are they just picking him based on the color of his skin? Floyd Sr. hasn't been mentally well in probably half a decade, Floyd literally had to walk him up to the podium and speak for him the last time when he won an award. He isn't fit to train anymore and if you guys were really fans of boxing you would've known that already.
Sooo, you couldn't think of any current fighters. I'm 40+ and you named a couple of my favorite ever (salvador) so no need for your racist lesson. I

You said Mexicans have a complete style, then went on to let your racism out by saying all blacks hug while stating "Mexicans" have a higher standard for their fighters. I disagreed and listed Nelo and a few black and white guys who have a "complete" style. You were supposed to list all of the current Mexican brothers with a complete style. You're full of it and we all know it. I dont have to list ATG fighters that were my skin tone because I'm not racist. I love Boxing and different styles.

Your statement on "conplete style" & "standard" would mean youre disappointed in most of your fighters. Movers, brawlers, or spoilers come in all skin tones + I didn't mention Floyd, just responding to a racist dumbass comment.

Ppl are use to seeing blacks "fight" that way its fine for them, while standards for Mexicans are higher they expect them to dominate or destroy. Facts!!!
Mexican style like clenelo has been getting their ass tore up which is why he's constantly avoiding the more skilled superior style. Boxing isn't a slug fest. Blacks are taught every aspect of the sport. its called the sweet science. Then their better athletic body and skills are added in. You are a wittle wee wee jealous coward. look at Mayweather, Haney, Stevenson and Tanks record against the mexican style. stop your excuses for being weak. Styles make fights. Who knew!!!

This kid is both undisciplined and unfocused. No one will be able to coach him. He left Eddy Reynoso and now Joe Goosen. I question his dedication and commitment to the sport. Is he all in or not?

If not then he shouldn't have to waste anyone else's time and just retire. He was out of action for more than a year and he didn't take a tune up for the Gervonta Davis fight.

He is another Teofimo Lopez. He is mentally broken. His will to win is gone.

Floyd Sr would be perfect for making the defensive improvements that Ryan needs while still keeping his offense sharp. But I don’t think the 2 personalities would mesh well at all.

Manny Robles got Oscar Valdez’ jaw broken and Michael Conlan left him as well since the face-first slugging style didn’t suit him.

So I’d say that Robert Garcia or Freddie Roach are probably the best all-around choices. Maybe Ismael Salas too.

Ryan needs either Robert Garcia or Derrick James.

Those are the guys that can turn him both into a dog in there and a technical master.
