He's doing what Oscar did whenever he lost a fight. Coach shopping. It's not the coach. Ryan is just a limited fighter and if he hasn't "got it" by now, he never will. He's B-level, always was and likely always will be.

I’d like to know why Joe Goossen wasn’t at the post fight press conference, same with DLH. Garcia is the fighter, and as such he just put his life on the line for you guys to make a huge amount of money, there’d better be a damn good reason for not being there. I don't think Ryan has the mentality for it, but Mayweather Sr. could do wonders with his talent.

Ryan needs to do what Canelo did years ago and transition from "Mexican style" to black boxer style. He's only 24 so he can be taught. Floyd Sr would be good. Instead of throwing wide looping shots throw straight shots. Instead of keep your head exposed straight up in the air tuck your chin and hold the phone. People who have been in the ring say he quit too. Ryan can say he fired joe but the reality is goosen was done after the fight he fired himself. Imagine having brought up corrales then having the stain of Garcia quitting like that on ur trainer resume. No one wants anything to do with Garcia now. Ryan Garcia should NOT return to Reynoso.
He was winning but he never improved technically under Reynoso.
Just like with Canelo (footwork), Reynoso seems to focus on a fighter's strong points, not on improving his weak points.

Garcia needs a serious, knowledgable coach who is in charge (and not let Garcia decide what he feels like doing) and corrects his mistakes from the ground up.

Mexican style like canelo is a complete style.

Black style with hug, run, jab, clinch rinse and repeat will kill canelo or any non blacks career.

Ppl are use to seeing blacks "fight" that way its fine for them, while standards for Mexicans are higher they expect them to dominate or destroy. Facts!!!

The Hype train of Ryan Garcia if officially over, he had some very good tools in his arsenal BUT his total arrogance into believing his god given talents are enough to walk through anyone and everyone is his downfall.. not believing he had to change or add anything to his game again showed us his immaturity in his mindset. Paid the price. Talked all that mental toughness prior to the fight... but when it came to showing the dog in him... he didnt have it.

Shop for a new coach, drum up interest in the fighter/coach pairing, do 2 tune up fights to get acclimated with the coach and stay away from dangerous opponents, there I just posted GBP's plan for Ryan for the next year.
