I will say that the talent pool is much, much deeper in boxing. Simply because there are a hell of a lot more boxers out there, who have been doing it for much longer, many of them since they were kids.


MMA is just barely getting off of the ground, and I think that in the past couple of years, kids have been picking it up as the sport has been legitimizing itself in the mainstream.


A lot of guys I train with are professional boxers as well as professional MMA fighters, and they will tell you that you can be fairly successful in MMA without a lot of experience.

Which is why you'll often see a guy with only 5 or 6 fights fighting in the WEC or Strikeforce.

and at the same time its bull In a street fight in a all out battle 75% a MMA fighter beats a Boxer... why? because boxers are great athletes but thier limited... MMA fighters, kick,Punch, elbow, wrestly, jiu jitsu, sambo, judo all that against just Striking??? MMA fighter wins 75% or more of the time mixed martial arts is a great skill , so dont be saying Oh ppl who dont make boxing go to MMA cause thats Bull****t
