Hes already an ATG, but if he fights/beats Manny, Cotto and/or Mosley his legacy would be completely sealed and he would be a bigger ATG... a Manny Pacquiao win is more career defining though so I voted Manny.

He's an ATG already but just from a fan view I would love for him to whoop Paull Williams ass.

He's an all time great for beating who? aged fighters, asking little fighters to move up and fight him? floyds last 7 fights. #7.Marquez old (38) out of weight (142) Floyd out of weight 146?) Fight night check the tale of the tape.

#6 Ricky Hatton at 147 smaller guy asked to move up who perhaps who had questionable victories over Luis Collazo after that showing Mayweather felt he could beat him. #5 De La Hoya split decision victory older fighter past his prime just check out his last 4 fights before Mayweather.

#4 Carlos Manuel Baldomir his record tells the story. #3 Zab Judah coming after a lost to the guy before says it all. Who only took three months to prepare for Floyd after that lost. #2 Sharmba Mitchell TKO in 3 by Kostya Tszyu he and Floyd never fought. #1 Arturo Gatti had three battles with Micky Ward and was TKO by De La Hoya. Gatti = shot fighter. At least Shane Mosley has never been knocked out and is above all those previously mentioned.

If Floyd had Cotto's WW resume excluding the Margarito loss he would already be top 10 ATG no doubt.

Even one victory against a highly rated fighter could be enough to sway many of those who express doubts at Mayweather's claims of supremacy.

Which single victory would confirm Mayweather as not only the best welterweight in the world but also a certified all time great?
Mayweather career defining fight was to fight Cotto when he was red hot and undefeated. Unless he fight Paul Williams now, he will always be remember as an ATG that ducked all the best at his higher weight.

While Pacquiao has accomplished alot more then Paul Williams. I'm sure everyone here would give Mayweather more credit for beating Paul as oppose to beating Pacquiao. Most, including most Mayweather fans don't see Floyd beating Paul. Paul and then Manny Pacquiao. Sad to say, Mayweather vs Paul isn't gonna happen.

Tell ya right now, I dont like floyd much. But if he were to beat Pacquaio, Williams, and Mosley within the next couple years he will be in the top 3 for greatest of all time in my opinion.
