Which 1 Fight Would Confirm Mayweather's Supremacy?

Mayweather's decision to fight both Hatton and Marquez was widely disputed, they were two fighters who were not natural welterweights. It's possible that Floyd will need to face an opponent who is genuinely rated as an elite fighter in the welterweight division if his legacy is to be truly solidified. Even one victory against a highly rated fighter could be enough to sway many of those who express doubts at Mayweather's claims of supremacy.

Which single victory would confirm Mayweather as not only the best welterweight in the world but also a certified all time great?

He need Volume. Mayweather needs to fight and beat Cotto/Pac/Mosley and Williams.

3 of those fighters would make a nice claim. Maybe move and fight Pavlik and take a risk like Oscar and Tito did when they fought Hopkins.

          He's ATG status already..

but to me he needs to fight atleast a couple legit WW to seal his GREAT SUPREMACY of our generation..

Cotto and Mosley would do GREAT..

Pacquiao would just be another little man there to get outclassed by Mayweather..

If he did ALL of that he would unarguably be top 30 and possibly top 20 all time...

That's ridiculous...and Williams aint even at 147 anymore...

                Beating

Mosley, Cotto, and Williams would most definitely put him at top 10-15!..

that would be AMAZING..even Pac and 2 others above would make him top 20..I just think Pac is too little..and would be more of a name to his resume than an actual threat or competitive match up..

Many great fighters can achieve one off performances in Boxing because styles make fights, but to assess who is the best you have to fight the best available consistently to establish that.

                    (assuming Cotto loses)

Pacquiao would be a career and era defining win.

Pacquiao and Mosley would erase all doubts anyone has.

Pacquiao and Mosley and Cotto and you got the best resume of this generation.
