Comments Thread For: O'Shaquie Foster Calls Out Joe Cordina: "I Got Smoke For Ya"

Joe Cordina's moment in the sun was incredibly transient. Following a jaw-dropping second-round stoppage win over Kenichi Ogawa in 2022, Cordina proudly d****d the IBF super featherweight title over his shoulders.

Would be a good fight, hopefully Cordina accepts the challenge.

Really like this fight. I favour Foster but definitely an interesting matchup. Both impressed me in their last fights.

Is Foster with PBC or a free agent?

Last I heard he was with Probellum after leaving Dibella. Don’t he’s still tied to Probellum any more, but haven’t heard anything of him signing with PBC. (Yet atleast)

I didn’t think he was, just remember his last fight was on a PBC card, so wondered if they’d signed him or had options on him.

If he’s a free agent, hopefully they can get the Cordina fight made, both guys seem to want it.

I have no idea why you've @'t me. But yes, i like this fight and favour Cordina by stoppage. Foster just isn't very good. Beating a Vargas who has proven absolutely nothing does nothing for me. Plus, Cordina has just got 12 rounds in the bag and is now active. We both know what that means for you. Bring it on. I hope Foster means what he says and isn't just like the rest with his talking but then refusing to get into the ring. But we'll see.

Could be a really positive sign. The people want to see the best fighting the best, would'a thunk that? I'm kinda leaning to Foster but it is close to 50/50 which is exactly what boxing has been missing for so damn long!

Just wanted to see if you were going to say that Cordina is being caught at the right time, when he isn’t prepared.

Good that you didn’t. And good that you like the fight and think Cordina should not back down from the challenge.

You say that about all American fighters, especially Black ones. If Foster "just isn't very good", then why would you like this fight? If Foster "just isn't very good", then neither are Rey Vargas or Mark Masgayo or Azat Hovhannisyan. See how foolish you sound? Put your personal biases aside for once.
