From what I’ve heard/read he just signed a 1 or 2 fight deal with Matchroom. So that was likely the hold up. Promotional bull**** to get the fight.

The WBC 140-pound titlist from New Orleans announced on his social media Thursday that he is now a free agent.

It is not clear if Prograis, 34, cut ties with just his promoter, or his management, or both. Prograis was last linked with Probellum, the defunct upstart once led by the oft-roving veteran Richard Schaefer.

Someone asked who I'd pay to see another PPV for. I think if Matias fought Tank, I'd cough up some cash for that. Granted I don't want anymore stipulations on the rehydration aspect. Catchweights have been around forever. If a fighter signs that, they agree they can make the weight. That comes with knowing yourself and how you will perform. If greed is greater than performance, that's on the fighter. Though we've seen plenty that rehydrate after a catch weight very healthy. Leave that off and I'd be down.
