No chance Davis fights a real threat at 140.

Will Matias drain to a catchweight?

Tank only fought bugger fighters if they are drained and with catchweight

Canelo fought against Bivol Kovalev AND all the 168 aré bigger than him
The same with Pacquiao, B hop, Oscar.

But Davis Is not on that level

Not gonna happen. After the success of the Garcia fight & this new “face of boxing” narrative his team & PBC/Showtime is trying to push, anyone that wants to fight tank better expect to have all kinds of hindering stipulations. I personally don’t believe Tank needs them but Ellerbe made it more than clear that they’re gonna flex that A-side muscle. And fortunately for Tank, there really isn’t anyone around his weight class that can challenge his A-side status.

Tank would never take this dangerous fight and why the hell should he? No belt, name recognition, or even an impressive win. Build yourself up before calling out a cash cow Matias.

Tank fought Barrios, and Garcia who are both taller fighter's than Matias. Tank has already fought at 140, against the champion no less, and knocked him out. Barrios looked about two, or three divisions heavier than Tank in their fight, and it didn't help him against Tank's power.
I would love to see these two champion's fight it out in the ring, the winner would become that much bigger in the sport of boxing.

Matias would be as much of a fool as Ryan was if he were to accept a catch weight, and a rehydration clause.
I think that Tank is going to eventually move up to the 140 pound weight class, he's about the same height as Aaron Pryor was at 140.
