Good read. And 100% agree with "Ryan will need to allow himself to be trained and mentored". Canelo said Garcia didn't have enough dedication and discipline for the sport. Canelo called it years ago.

Some CRAZY whacked questions this week must of had Bread shaking his head at.

40 year old Johnson beating Prime 24 Dempsey.

"He was past his best day. So 4 years later you think he could’ve beaten a prime Dempsey. I don’t know about that. 40 years old was ancient in those days without modern recovery"

And Tank is "Trickery" and a fraud...

        SMH.

Shaddow702 When Johnson lost his title in 1915 he was in very bad shape. He could've got into much better shape in 1919. I understand what Bread said but I can't buy that 'modern recovery' makes all the odds, Archie Moore & Jersey Joe Walcott were bad men when they were old & never had the advantages of modern techniques. Johnson, like Moore, was a supreme technician & I would say Archie got beat up a lot more than JJ did. I would see JJ being v competitive at over 40

The fact that both Ryan and Andy Ruiz left Canelo’s gym was a warning sign. Canelo works incredibly hard and those two leaving indicates to me that they weren’t willing to put themselves through the same hell on a regular, consistent basis.

Even Frank Sanchez (who has the same manager as Ryan) wanted to go back after having been forced to move to Joe Goossen.

I've been saying that Teo's melting down and doesn't need to be boxing.

Guy needs to get his life and mind in order, so I don't take what he's saying too much to heart because I've heard him talk about how down he's been since the pandemic even contemplating suicide multiple times.

Guy needs to take a year off (if he can) from boxing, get his life together, settle the shxt with his wife (or ex-wife) & kids, and focus on maximizing his potential as a fighter.

People also, need to stop putting a microphone in front of somebody who's obviously fxcked in the head.

Yeah like they say boxing u find out real quick what someone is made of. Teo and Ryan both got mad skills but mentally they are a wreck. I just don't understand how both have mental breakdowns when they have EVERYTHING. Money, good looks, mad skills, money, and money....

Yeah I believe it. They don't play in that gym. Ryan probably showed up late 1000 times and when there was on his phone 90% of the time. I've been to boxing gyms where you pull out a phone your done. Kicked out on the spot... Ryan said he had a snitch in his camp. I believe it. That's my point.

Honestly Teo just needs time away from his dad. Dude outlived his usefulness. Now he just a weird old dude trying to redo his life through his son.
