Full credit from me whoever wins that fight if it ever gets made.

He’s fighting Ryder then Bivol. Your acting like he’s ducking Benavides to fight quigley or some other D level fighter. After Bivol, if he doesn’t fight benavidez then I’d agree with you, but I believe after Bivol his intentions are to fight benavidez l. Assuming he gets past morrell, which I don’t think he will.

Nah, he's been ducking Benavidez, period. At first, Canelo said he didn't want to fight fellow Mexicans. Then, he said David hadn't fought anyone to deserve a fight with him. Now, he's just too busy. I get that Ryder is his mando, but I don't think he wants Benavidez and I'd be surprised if he rematches Bivol. Morrell looks promising but so far, he's just beating up bums.

Canelo mentioned he didn’t want to fight another Mexican after the Chavez fight. He publicly said he hated the way the rivalry had split Mexico when all he wants to do with a unity. Had nothing to do with Benavides lol. But I believe he’s changed his tune lately. Again, we’ll see after the Bivol fight. If he continues to “duck” him then I’ll eat my words.

I don't know if the quote was timed stamped, but I read it recently. If Canelo fights Bivol again, I'll give him props. If he fights Benavidez, I'll give him mad props.

I think he’ll fight both in due time.

also, let’s not not forget benavidez lost his title for not making weight. If he had the title while Canelo was cleaning out 168, I’m sure they would’ve fought. No one mentions how Benavides dropped the ball first.

benavidez might knock him out, like beterbiev or prime ggg would have done. bivol might beat him but he wont knock him out. canelo doesnt mind getting outboxed, but he doesnt want to be humiliated and ko'd, hes too narcisstic. same reason floyd ducked prime guys like marg and pac.

I know Benavidez lost his title twice; once for being overweight and the other for failing a ******* test. No doubt, both were his fault, but we can't do anything about the past. Now, David is a mandatory challenger for Canelo's WBC strap. Another point to realize is Benavidez is 26, while Saul is 32. Time is not on Canelo's side.

I don't know about that, bro'. I think Canelo has chosen his opponents carefully because he doesn't want to lose, period.
