Absolutely not. The haters will always say after he wins that the dude was not good like they have done with Pac, Floyd, etc. and then they move to the next guy he hasn't fought.

Canelo only has to really meaningful fight, either it is Benavides or a rematch with Bivol. I have been critical on Canelo with that nonsense the he won't fight a fellow Mexican. Regardless how Benavides calls himself he is half something else and he is American, so that excuse goes right out the window.

Both said going into the 4th match that it would be the last one and there’s a bit of difference between pac getting a controversial and controversial wins and Marquez knocking pac the fook out. That is arguably the best win in Mexican boxing history and definitely bigger than any Canelo win.

Pac was F him up badly and got careless.
Marquez knows it, knew it and that is why there was never a rematch.

Canelo has the best resume in boxing. 64 fights - he can’t fight everybody and going for a rematch against Bivol is the gutsiest thing anyone in boxing is trying to do. Don’t have an answer for that one do you? Bivol arguably is the best fighter in the game at the moment.

Marquez facing pac 4 times and Barrera once, morales facing Barrera 3 times and pac 3 times while Barrera faced morales 3 times, pac twice and morales once are all more risks than Canelo’s entire career combined. He’s qualified to speak on this and it’s not hating when it’s true.

can't deal with the fact that Canelo has achieved more in the ring than he ever did, more money too, at a younger age

his resume is lackluster compared to Canelo's, he's only got Pac (it took him 4 tries and hiring a PED guru btw), old barrera and nothing else

Marquez never unified any division

he never became P4P #1

he didn't win all his belts in the ring, got his last one as a gift by email

he got dominated worse by Mayweather than ginger did, he landed measly 69 punches and even got put on his ass by Floyd's feather fists
