Canelo Is one of the most hated persons in México
Truly curious why. What's the narrative? It's funny you mentioned it but I chatted with a guy from my gym and he turned out to be a Mexican. I asked him about Canelo and his hate speech was endless lol I still couldn't understand the actually reasons

So, the guy loses his belt due to his indiscretion twice. Now, he's cleaned up his act, is focused and beating opponents, as he tries to claw his way back into title contention. Is he not ever supposed to get a shot at winning back his belt, or does he have to jump through more hoops and literally beg Canelo? You do realize that the fight with Plant was an eliminator bout, in which the WBC declared the winner Canelo's mandatory challenger, right?

As much as I liked watching Marquez fight his always come across as bitter and resentful when it came to Alvarez. He feels that Alvarez never had to put in the work to become a household name like most Mexican fighters due, it was just handed to him. And to an extent he is correct but that’s just how life is sometimes, is it Alvarez fault that people want to watch him fight? As far as the Benavidez fight it’ll eventually happen, either by the end of the year or next years Cinco de Mayo. Too much money on the table for it not to happen, not to mention that Alvarez really doesn’t have that many options either. Bivol, Benavidez are the top two options right now and no other fighter comes close to being mentioned as being a viable option

Everyone has goals and aspirations, including canelo. Should canelo put his aside (getting rematch with Bivol) because Benavides now wants to get his act together? Now, if Canelo doesn’t fight Benavidez after Bivol, you’ll have a valid point. Until then, I’m okay with him waiting as long as Canelo continue to challenge himself.

If Canelo returns as his old self I would take him over Benavidez. But a hell of a fight. Marquez was one of the greats but he is not big on compliments.

He kept losing his belts on his own misdoing. It is not like he fought murder row either. He has a weak resume.

Read the following post. Don't know where you guys think that I don't want to see the fight or justifying not to fight him. Already said way before this thread that is a fight that is very attractive.

The hate for Canelo is unreal.

LOL, now I am a Canelo fan boy. You are one of those haters that I was talking about. You say I have 1 brain cell and look how you right. You probably as bad as you wrote still needed help from someone so you can put a sentence together.

Your comment saying Canelo will win and people will make excuses for Benavidez by calling it a cherry pick, sure sounds like you're against the fight.

I didn't know that so many were going to get triggered with my first post. The same thing happened when Canelo challenged Bivol. I said I have never seen Bivol go on second gear and go to another level, he was bigger and skilled. Got a lot of flak for that and look what happened.

I will continue to say if Canelo fights Benavides and wins they will call Benavides a bum. I stated numerous time that I want to see that fight and no more than ever with that good win against Plant.
