Im an “old guy” and I can tell you boxing has always been a business. Read the book Four Kings by George kimball and you will see even in the 80s, there were tons of boxing politics and demands. Even in the early days, the mob had their hands in boxing. I do agree about the belts, wayyy to many

I think they may be overestimating Davis’s drawing power. Love him or hate him, I think it’s safe to say a lot of those viewers were watching for Garcia. 10 mil instagram followers speaks for itself…Comment

Bro....shakur don't even believe that. Shakur said in sparring tank. Tank did his thing and it was an absolute eye opener of how skillfull sneaky tank is. Tank on the other hand says he simply wobbled a cracked shakur in sparring. All 3 of these guys know each other. Shakur says tank will be his most challenging fight but on the other hand says devin is somewhat of a dud. Shakur himself don't even believe he will clown tank.Comment

Instagram followers don't translate into ppv buys. U need to go back to school. One of the worse ways of drawing actual money is from social media followers. Its proven that people on instagram live a fake life and don't have a pot to piss in. That number came from the casual boxing fans not instagram followers nore Ryan. People treated this fight like a mini superbowl, bbqs, get together, group meet ups. I don't know why u guys are so hell bent on lying for Ryan placing him to be something that he is not.Last edited by Godsfly; 04-28-2023, 09:58 AM.Comment

Haney would present problems no doubt but he doesn’t do well with power and tends to hold, whereas Gervonta is the worst type of puncher due to being sharp and wicked once he hurts you plus Gervonta is underrated as a boxer. I give edge to Gervonta but I believe Stevenson has edge over both because I see no weakness except power, but that’s well enough to keep people honest! Stevenson is most feared at lightweight and should be, best defense with awesome offense and perfect timing and avg to good power.Comment

He doesn't have to stop him, he only has to outbox him for 12 rounds. Tank will not KO Haney. The fight goes 12 rounds and I like Haney by a wide UD.Comment

Marketing talk, we'll see if they price themselves out on purpose when it's time to face the best aka the winner of Haney vs Loma. As impressed as I was with that 2nd round knock down, I see Haney, Loma and Shakur beating Tank. If Tank would've gotten past say Jamaine Ortiz last week, I would give him a better chance against the top 3 guys at 135.
This is boxing not boxcar fights. Just like in all sports, the most skilled person has the greatest chance of winning.
Anyone who thinks anything but a lot is not a good win and calls boxers runners are watching the wrong sport. I can go downtown not pay a cent if I want to see 2 people trade till one falls. (yes, there's always the quiet guy with skills minding his business that can end things with one skilled kick to the head or a simple 1,2 combo to make me smile).Comment
