Ike Ibeabuchi would have been the heir to the throne after Lewis.

Ok so Wlad gassed and...LOST. Too bad. I guess the definition of foola nd hater means telling it like it is.Yer a fool anda hater. Wlad was easily beating that tomato can Purritty for 10 rounds, then gassed out in the 11th. Thats it. You know what happens when a fighter gasses out, don't you?
And Purritty was one of the toughest fighters at the time. He gave Morrison a rough fight and made it a draw.Comment

Lewis won by tko not dq, he made mccall cry thats a fact. enough with your excuses.Did you even watch that fight?? McCall didn't wanna fight, so he was disqualified. He wasnt fighting back at all! And in the first two rounds that he did fight, he was beating Lewis actually. And don't bring up that Purritty loss please! Everybody knows that wasn't a prime Wlad, it was a young Wlad with poor stamina. And his stamina defeated him, not Ross frickin' Purritty!
it wasn't a prime lewis that got knocked out by mccall in their first fight either. he improved tons when he met steward but he lost never the less. so whats your point?
fact is lennox avvenged all his losses, wlad have not. lewis has a much better resume this can't even be argued.
give me your reasons why wlad should be ranked higher?
and check out this thread i made and look at the poll
all who voted for lewis don't know anything about boxing right? lmaoLast edited by Яша; 09-29-2009, 12:28 PM.Comment

Im not someone whos going to say that Ibeabuchi would have beaten Lewis, the Klitschko bros, Holyfield etc...but the man was simply a beast.
to this day, a young Chris Byrd is STILL Wlad Klitschko's best win...pretty impressive.
a win over a game, in shape undefeated wrecking ball in Tua is a pretty damn good win too.
throw in the fact that he was decent sized, could hit like a truck when he needed to and broke the heavyweight punch record, and you have one hell of a prospect.
The guy was only 26 when his career ended. not incredibly young, but he had plenty of time to improve.
Now compare that to this.Comment

I mos def think had Ibeabuchi not got locked up that there wouldnt be a heavyweight recession like there is today...He woulda came in and knocked his opponents block the *** off....or woulda got caught.
I was at the Tua/Ike fight here in Sacra and damn i miss HW fights like that....
For all the skill and talent the Klit bros have, they just dont excite anyones interest unless you put an arreola, haye, povetkin etc., in front of them (who make them fight)..
VKlit did his job on saturday, and i cant take anything away from him, but i dont want to see a hw champ dance around the ring. I wanna see him ktfo of his opponent. Thats what the hw division is all about, imoLast edited by mrlopez; 09-30-2009, 04:50 PM.Comment
