Showtime – which, like BoxingScene.com, is owned by Paramount Global. THIS IS NEWS TO ME.

wow, with all the piracy today, I didnt think ANY ppv could do those kinds of numbers.
Hopefully other fighters get the message that if you put a credible fight out there, people will support it.

Fight sold absurdly well despite not being that well promoted until the last two weeks prior to the fight.
Shows that if the big fights were happening, it be as big as MMA (UFC) in terms of view ratings.

Ryan has never fought on PPV. The live crowd was pro Tank.
Why are you so sure it wasn’t Tank?
Because he never does good numbers without Ryan.

So Haney vs Loma will do this good? It's a much better fight.

That was quick.
But Plant v Benavidez numbers are somehow "still not back"?

Tank had headlined 3 ppvs and was the semi main on the Floyd/conor card that did 4+ mill.
Hes been in the news a lot for his garbage.
Ryan hasnt done any numbers at all.
Could it be the actual fight was what sold?

The sport needs more fans like you that dont buy fights but criticize fans that did buy the ppv and enjoyed it.
