Lol Ryan has only had 1 PPV fight and it did less than 100k. His last fight was only 70% attendance and his insta is mainly girls and people who have no interest in the sport. Tanks brought in the numbers - mainly from fans and people who want to see him lose.

Tank has a lot of street clout, which is why Ryan kept chasing it! That's why he was at Mayweather's party, etc., and Oscar had to put a cease-and-desist order on Floyd! Tank vs. Ryan was like Floyd vs. Canelo, and Tank vs. Shakur is like Floyd vs. Zab 2.0! It appeals to a different audience, a smaller audience, but still a BIG event! It would do at least 500K!

definitely wont do as good. Different vibe. One of the draws of Tank-Garcia was people pretty much assumed it wasnt going the distance. That adds excitement and interest to a promotion.

But public perception of Haney is he is pretty much just going to throw 900 jabs, clinch 30 times a round, and do his best to stink out the place.

Good numbers for boxing but everyone knows 75% of the viewers were because of Ryan, it's a marketing thing and if you say otherwise you are just being a hater. Obviously Tank has a decent following but he never did numbers like this before so yeah the allure of the fight was responsible and it takes two to fight so Tank contributed but not to the extent Garcia did and that is just facts.

From this point forward though I could see Tank selling more because of the turn out for this one and the exposure he got towards the casual fans. I bought the PPV but aside from the main it was a garbage card if we are being truthful. Garcia and Salgado was ok, Rosado vs Bek II was abysmal and Morrell vs Tamagotchi was a complete mismatch.
