If Lomachenko beats Haney, Will Davis fight him?

Its pretty clear the winner of Haney v Loma is fighting Shakur next.

Arum isnt going to risk losing control of a division. He made Haney sign a co promotional deal before he would give him a title fight.

Tank earns enough that he isn’t going to be forced into that like Haney was.

I also think Shakur has the best chance to beat Tank so that is the fight Bob would be willing to make.

I just wonder if Shakur leaves TR so he can make more from the Tank fight- which should do big numbers.

loma is not a guy people will duck at 135 i dont think, hes still in the mix but thats about it

IF Lomachenko wins, this is CLEARLY the biggest fight at 135 to make.

It won't be possible because if Loma defeats Haney; Bob Arum has already said that Shakur Stevenson would be his next opponent and Haney would move up north to the 140 pound divsion.

It might not be possible as the immediate next fight... But if Loma then proceeds to defeat Shakur it would then setup the superfight with Davis (I'm not sure who Davis should fight in the meantime) ... It's just odd that Davis never mentions Lomachenko...

Lomachenko is certainly older than Davis, Haney, and Shakur but he still remains the most technical and polished fighter at 135. That's not even up for debate. It's just a question if time has caught up with him yet.

Go back a few years and no one would favor anyone at 135 over Lomachenko.

Well you are right. I never even remotely considered the distinct possibility of Loma ever defeating Shakur Stevenson. In any case, if Loma does defeat both Devin and Shakur; Then I say yes. There is a strong possibility that Tank would fight him; That is if Gervonta hasn't outgrown the division by then.

in fact loma is someone at 135 that people were rushing to fight, he was a name that people fancied knocking off, thats not going to change with age either, if loma somehow manages to beat haney which i doubt there will be a Q of people looking for him
