lol, Jr is still under the shock of the defeat. Liam Beefy Smith- a non-puncher-UK level fighter stopped in 4th Eubank Jr - the iron chined son of the legend who never got stopped or dropped in sparrings or fights. That must be very devastating for Jr's big ego.

But I give Jr the props for trying to avenge his loss.

If you want to see genuine iron chin watch Eubank senior’s fight against Carl Thomson. Utterly amazing how much punishment he took in that. Shows you quite how tough his old man really was.

Yes is true. You couldn't really see the elbow until you looked closely. Also Smith landed with pretty much all of the punches in his combos. Which is rare. I doubt the same will happen again in the rematch. Ref was right to stop the fight though. Eubank was on unsteady legs

Any ref who wouldn't have stopped that would have been incompetent.

This guy's beyond help. Jabbing from the knee, gets dropped. Stumbles around like some 2am drunk. Pampered child vs hard man.

Calzaghe, 1st round... and that was like the 5th time he'd been down

I don't know about you guys but Ward-Gatti is precisely what I was thinking when the fight got stopped lol...

In all seriousness, I'm sure like many, I never saw that elbow until later in some slo-mo highlights. I don't know how much it mattered at that point but I can't imagine it HELPED Eubank.

Nah Chris, You should have sent the ref a thank you card for stopping that fight. Else, you wouldn't be having a rematch. AND, Roy Jones was about to throw in the towel.

Ngl. I thought it would be walk in a park for Eubank.

Smith showed he has skills and quite under rated

More like Gvozdyk-Stevenson. He should be grateful that the ref stopped the fight. Boxers like to talk trash about the ref but then when they’re brain damaged the family wants to come after the ref, doctor, commission, everyone.

So officials need to ignore fighters like Eubank and keep saving these dumbasses from themselves. Better to be hated for prevention, than sued for negligence.
