The former heavyweight champion from London offered some sobering remarks about his fighting identity in a recent sit-down interview, claiming he is, at heart, a "boxer" who prefers to think his way through a fight. When you fight wilder don't overthink. Just land heavy artillery on him too disheartened him. Kronk style....the jab must go through him to stop him coming right back at you.

AJ proved with his post fight rant against usyk that he’s a deep profound thinker. His analysis that what’s going on in Ukraine and how it “isn’t nice” was Dalai Lama level deep. Ricky Bobby was also a thinker of this magnitude. If ur not first ur last . Profound stuff

Nobody likes a tentative, overthinking heavyweight.

Reminds me of Floyd. More of a knockout artist first half of his career. Became a much more tactical 12 round fighter later on.

Floyd has 27 KOs but 24 of them came in the first 10 years. He only 3 KOs in the last 10 years of his career. And one of them was McGregor.

Yip, getting clipped by Ruiz sure made a thinker out of Joshua didn't it.
