What did One Time have like 3 fights in the last 8 years? Something like that smh. I dont understand why he just keeps sitting out for years because he literally went from about to be a star at welterweight to sitting out his prime then coming back and sitting out more years
Crazy how Keith Thurman stays inactive smh

Untimely Injuries and an overall sense of complacency. He had the audacity to return on PPV after a long stretch of inactivity to face Barrios, and then want on another hiatus because he's waiting for Spence/Crawford. Thurman's career has become a joke. He started fighting twice a year too soon, and has only fought 5 times in the past 7 years.Last edited by kiaba360; 04-25-2023, 06:43 AM.Comment

Was he really demanding $10m to fight Ennis? I'd love to see that fight. They need to get Jaron a name opponent and Thurman fits the bill perfectly. That's a high level matchup too.Comment

He was inactive for a long time, took the Lopez fight, looked terrible, that got him the Manny fight, hes been inactive since but might get dusted off for a Spence tune up.What did One Time have like 3 fights in the last 8 years? He demanded $10M to fight a guy who's largest purse hasn't surpassed $500K?.......lol. Thurman is in a bout with Reality and it seems he's taking body shots again.
I think Ennis/Thurman would be a decent fight. I'm not with the majority in thinking that Ennis is as elite as claimed.... He's fought nobody. Biggest wins are vs a couple 140 lb'ers moving up to welterweight, but claims he's bigger, faster, and stronger than the elites......
Thurman, Ennis, Stanionis, Ortiz, Ellis, Butaev, Crowley, Rocha all are on the same level to me..... Thurman is accomplished but in the last 5 years.....his stock dropped drastically due to inactivity........Comment

On the eye test, Ennis passes with flying colours. I'm not sure some of those guys are on his level. I wouldn't oppose him fighting any of those guys and a few others (eg. Kavaliauskas). They need to step up the opposition for sure.

looked him up and hes only 34!
in my mind I have considered him retired for many years now. He is just looking for another cash out but he wont take stay busy fights to market himself, he is a moron.
I was expecting him to be late 30s. He really wasted his prime being an inactive diva and not wanting to put in the work or take the risks required to be a champ.Last edited by elfag; 04-25-2023, 09:49 AM.Comment
