Is it fair to say that now every boxer and their mom look at Floyd's paydays and ask for insane money to fight top opponents? Is it over for the fans? Are we only going to see 1-2 top fights a year because of it?

All I hear this days is "yeah I'm willing to fight anyone.... If the money is right", and the money is never right for them. Now I am not saying boxers shouldn't get paid well. They absolutely do but the delusional landscape Floyd created for the existing and upcoming stars is working against the sport's best interest.

The name of the game now is to become an Instagram or YouTube champ and ask for millions to fight. If you enjoy watching Paul vs Woodley, your time is now.
Mayweather's showing the new kids how to stick together, make easy, fast cash without fighting the top level competition.

So yeah it's probably going to be the same old story, 1 or 2, top level fights a year if we're lucky.

Just like in the old days, a few top-level fights a year, you should take a look at the shenanigans Leonard pulled on Hagler or Louis Scmelling as examples, its been going on way before Floyd and will go on so long as fans pick sides.

Floyd's entire career was fighting top-level comp I don't get how you figure its wasn't when his resume is better than anyone in his era, what you say doesn't add up on paper.

That's the main reason i'm not a fan of mayweather anymore because he's one of the most liar, cheater in boxing and you support him in every way and that i know you're the same.

The 80's WW 4 kings fought everyone all the way up to 160 vs Hagler with no catchweights.

The 90's era all fought each other too - DLH, Trinidad, Mosley, Whitaker, Quartey, Vargas etc...rarely with any stips.

Tank's a good fighter but he still hasn't fought anyone elite in his own weight class.

Leonard Hagler had weight conditions and the amount of rounds ring size, everything Ray could pull he did, to say they fought everyone is an exaggeration go look at the resumes they fought the same number of top guys the others did and they avoided guys like Mike McCallum, even now a top career contains 6 or so top fights the rest are contenders and fill ins. I get it this is your time but I was around in your old days Im telling you there was always BS going on in boxing only it was behind the scenes without social media or internet.
