at 24 of course not, who is arguing that he was or is at 24 at "Great Fighter" I don't think any of these guys have solidified "Greatness" so it is a ****** argument

so it really isnt about tank being such a great fighter then but the fact that garica is not a great fighter.

          yes or no?

first of all stop using the world "Great" so loosely because none of these guys are close to be some sort of "All Time Greats" and nobody is even making the argument that Tank or any of these current guys are "GREAT" because neither of them or anything close to that IMO

It is Simple, Tank Beat Ryan, Ryan is only 24 so he can still bounce back from this and he can still get better and turn this around and go on to have an Excellent Career. No fighter was already "GREAT" at 24 this is just a ridiculous discussion but clearly you bored or something and just want to go back and forth about absolutely NOTHING

              that's not true at all.

plenty of fighters were already great in their mid 20s. floyd is one. wilfred benitez is another off the top of my head. salvador sanchez is another one off the top of my head. im sure there's more.

see, this thread is really about ryan garcia but you tried to make it about tank to make his win seem better when you know damn well this kid is a fraud and there's really nothing great about this win.

has tank beaten a bona fide "great" fighter?

You guys are too hard on Ryan. He was demanding this fight for awhile. Had to take on some stipulations for it and went out there. He got dropped first with a shot that didn't even put him down as bad as he looked vs Campbell. Then a sneaky body shot later in the fight. Sure, I believe he probably could of gotten up, granted I'm not in the ring so I don't really know, but you make it sound like he was completely blown out of the fight. I think he was right in there until he got too anxious and excited.

GBP wasn't cashing out. As far as I'm concerned, Ryan can sell out an arena with whoever the hell is his next opponent. GBP was giving Ryan what he's been asking for, for years. It was that or he left them. Pretty sure that was one of the promises GBP had with Ryan when they had to make mends with him. They agreed to get him Tank if he stuck with GBP. They did. What happened to Ryan at that point is mostly on him.

Exposed? I dont ever remember ANYONE with boxing sense saying he was some top notch guy. He hadnt fought anyone for the most part. Sl

As for Davis, if we're being honest, he still hasnt fought a top guy at 135 or 140.
