Gabriel Sarmiento, trainer of WBC junior middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, has ripped into Joshua Clottey. Sarmiento became very upset when he found out Clottey turned down Martinez as an opponent for the Pavlik-Williams undercard on December 5. He would certainly understand if Clottey was willing to take the fight - and Top Rank [Clottey's promoter] took the position of turning it down.
