He done what he was supposed to do against a fighter who is limited in experience and fundamentals
its been 6 and a half years now and he hasnt fought anyone in the top 5 in his entire career. this is how you manufacture a "star" his best opponent was isaac cruz who arguably beat him and that was only a late step in because abner mares or some bum pulled out. hes not chasing greatness, hes chasing mediocrity

All Ryan has ever had is fast hands and power. His fight against Tagoe was a good example. He kept waiting for Tagoe to be standing still in his wheelhouse, which never happened. He didn't even try to set it up using his jab or using angles. He stalked him then mostly just stood and looked.

Saturday, Ryan had nothing. His poor ring IQ plus attenuated physicality equaled zero.

Ryan did everything he could, except learn how to box. Notice how he hooked, got hit, then started jabbing. He was flailing, Tank threw in between.

He caught him twice while he's trying to press Tank. People should give Tank credit for his craft and ring IQ, he's a lot more than a power puncher.
I totally agree with you but let’s assume he stops fighting these limited fighters and fights a Haney or Stevenson who can match him in ring iq and skills. They for sure want be following him around the ring. The only advantage Tank has over them is to Brawl because he has the equaliser but defensively they are superior to Tank in my humble opinion

Who else has Garcia fought apart from Luke Campbell who was on his way out yet still floored him with his pillow fists. Tank vs Garcia was a mismatch. I’m not interested in what Ryan does out of the ring therefore I was never swayed by his popularity. He is straight up and down. Rapid hands if his target is stationary and slow arse feet. I’m surprised The fight went so long.

Pissed. You probably thought after he took the knee in the 7th you were on course to securing the bag

It was very impressive from Tank.

No excuses, Garcia lost clearly. The fight could've done without the rehydration clause and second weigh-in nonsense. Not a good look.

If you make the weight, you make the weight. Sure, there are 'weight bullies', but Ryan is not one of them. I didnt like that from Davis' team.
