All Ryan has ever had is fast hands and power. His fight against Tagoe was a good example. He kept waiting for Tagoe to be standing still in his wheelhouse, which never happened. He didn't even try to set it up using his jab or using angles. He stalked him then mostly just stood and looked.
Saturday, Ryan had nothing. His poor ring IQ plus attenuated physicality equaled zero.

I was a fan from the Pedraza fight but for 5 years he has fought mediocre fighters. I’m happy he is getting that money but I fear he is not chasing greatness. He beat up Garcia but who couldn’t. He done what he was supposed to do against a fighter who is limited in experience and fundamentals

He caught him twice while he's trying to press Tank. People should give Tank credit for his craft and ring IQ, he's a lot more than a power puncher.

It was very impressive from Tank.
No excuses, Garcia lost clearly. The fight could've done without the rehydration clause and second weigh-in nonsense. Not a good look.
If you make the weight, you make the weight. Sure, there are 'weight bullies', but Ryan is not one of them. I didnt like that from Davis' team.
