What a fight! Tank my boy made Ryan Garcia look like an amateur.

Well in my estimation a prime Pedraza remains his best - or at least most notable - win. Where doe Jose rank in the boxing pantheon of greats?
Tank's definitely an exceptional fighter but his resume remians relatively thin when it comes to proven top fighters.

His resume doesn't even come close to other active fighters like Nonito Donaire, Donnie Nietes, Vasyl Lomachenko, Naoya Inoue, Canelo Alvarez, Terence Crawford, Errol Spence, Gennadiy Golovkin, Oleklandr Usyk, Chocolatito, Juan Francisco Estrada, or Kazuto Ioka. Most of Tank's notable opponents were far beyond their prime and/or far outside of their best weight (including Yuriorkis Gamboa, Cristobal Cruz, Leo Santa Cruz, Hugo Ruiz, Hector Garcia).
And most of his title wins are fake ass Regular belts.
He has still never fought anyone that was ranked in the top 5 of the weight division he fought them in at the time of the fight. He has never unified. He has never won a lineal or Ring Magazine championship.
He has some good wins. Ryan Garcia, Jose Pedraza, Isaac Cruz. But the hype is out of control. He's a talented fighter who has won legit titles at super featherweight. Nothing more, nothing less.Mexican_Puppet likes this.
