The face of boxing is the one that generates the most interest and revenue for his fights, not who wins in imaginary matchups.

Canelo’s still #1 with Tank leapfrogging Fury for second tonight. Davis’ next fight will be blockbuster; generating tons of interest and revenue, dwarfing his peers.

but we know he wont fight the best there. will he beat the tomato cans he fights? most likely. the drained fighters or small guys like santa cruz and garcia? most likely. he got a dubious decision over isaac cruz so not sure you can claim hes some unbeatable force. i think he could compete with the top guys and maybe even beat some but he wont

He will go back to getting soft match ups, he won't fight Stevenson or Haney. He might got for Lopez though if wins the belt at 140 though.

Tank is definitely one of the faces of boxing. Who really is there that they could call that besides Canelo? Crawford could have been the guy but he let most his career slip by

Tank is knocking loma completely out. Shakur is a good fight. Haney i believe gets clipped. Stop the none sense.......

Just saying if you're gonna be called the best fight the best. Ryan was never gonna beat Tank but why get a catcher plus rehydration clause vs him but you've fought others at that weight class without it?

This face of boxing should beat some top guy at 140 or 135 first.

As I said, Tank - Garcia was a solid fight between two contenders fighting at a catchweight, nothing more.

Hes never gonna be the face of boxing, in a commercial/mainstream recognition sense. Ryan had the potential to be based on his stuff outside the ring but hes just not good enough in it.

Canelo is still a face of boxing. You don`t become that over night.

If Canelo ( after Ryder) rematches Bivol and/or fights Benavidez, he keeps this status.
