Davis broke Garcia's spirit. The sad thing is I don't think Garcia realized that some of his punches hurt Davis. Garcia fought like a spoiled kid. It's like he felt enough of Davis' power and he didn't want to continue. He was faced with a decision to dare to be legendary or throw in the towel and fight another day. He decided to take an "I'll just be ordinary" route, take a loss and fight another day. This was a disappointing showing by Garcia.

I think at some point during the count he thought f### it.
He couldn't take the mental pressure Tank was applying

Why don´t Latinos/ Hispanics don´t hug so much? Simple. We have honor.
The judges were so much on PBC’s payroll they scored a 10-10 round in the 2nd round LOL. Makes no sense..

Remember the skinny Many ko'd by this Thai fighter? He was too skinny a simple body punch stopped him and that's when he decided to move 2 weightclasses above. The exact same thing happened to Garcia. It was a trap, simple

Let it go buddy! Your guy quit after talking all that shit to Tank! Davis was setting his ass up beautifully until that knockout. Just give Gervonta his credit. His ring IQ is superb. Garcia never really stood a chance. Once Davis neutralized that left hook it was a wrap. Which convinced Ryan to quit!

You are just plain wrong. Loma’s light weight wins were against a combined record of 187 wins, 3 champions. Linares in his prime demolishes Ryan. Almost knocked out Haney when was past it. Jamaine Ortiz? Don’t sleep on that guy. I think he’s got a future. Luke Campbell is Ryan’s only quality win.

Based on how quickly he got up after 10 and his in-ring post fight interview, he may have quit. We may never see Garcia in a professional fight again.
That's the best assessment I saw in the last several pages of this thread.

Loma’s best two wins are Campbell & Linares at 135. Ryan folded Campbell 2 years ago & most likely would’ve KO’d Linares with a body shot or stopped him early.
Sorry but Loma’s resumè at 135 is super-weak
