  • Let's be real, Garcia could have got up if he truly wanted to, maybe he would've gone down again but I believe he made a choice there.

anyway the skill level gap was very evident.

Thats why really smart boxers don't fear big punchers who are limited. Floyd fought many punchers. We saw Fury had no issue fighting Wilder 3 times. Tank had no fear of Garcia. Its very difficult to think of a fighter known for their very high ring IQ that avoided big punchers.

They know unless they can put your lights out, then they have very little chance of winning.

There's a very low percentage chance that Garcia could ever beat Tank.

All good until we seen in the ring.. even the biggest punchers in the history of the sport end up going 12 rounds with a guy more skilled and losing.

        • It was a tense fight because of the speed and the ability of both fighters being able to KO the other one with one shot. Garcia actually had a very good sequence before he got stopped. He had changed tactics and started to land the right, and then right left combo.

Tank is simply that good of a counterpuncher.

          • I tuned out after round 5. I'm glad this "mega fight" is over. Now boxing can move on.

As usual, letting them hug for no reason, interrupt the fight when the AA is getting beat to the punch, talk to the oponnent and distract him, etc. Gervonta was hugging all night in a weird eay, not letting Ryan fight. Eeven in the KO, it happenned when Davis got so close to Ryan, basically trying to hug and the moment they were separating, he threw the punch (Ryan did too, but left his left side exposed).
                  No. “KingRy” Quit.

                  • Hopkins de la Hoya kos shot to the body had similar delay. Anybody here criticising it or makin it out to be something in Garcia’s head really ought to just stick with Facebook trolling.
he was gaining momentum from the 2nd rnd although too cautious in my view, the right hand was beginning to land almost at will with good follow up but one covering up to close to high leaves the body open. Game over on this one but does nothing to knock Garcia’s progress at all.

                    • If Ryan would have fought like African-Americans, just jab and hug all night he could have went the distance or win on points ( if the judges were not on PBC's payroll ). Gervonta won due to the ref never deducting a point for hugging, therefore no letting Ryan fight, and the sjot to the liver was when Gervonta got so close as if to hug and the moment they separated, Ryan let his left side exposed. Why donīt Latinos/ Hispanics donīt hug so much? Simple. We have honor.
