Just terrible the ref didn't stop it with the 1st knockdown. The guy didn't know where he was. Why can't they give Morrell a title fight? He's a killer and don't think any super middle wants to fight him

Morrell vs Benavidez should happen next now. I don't wanna hear that trainer Shields objecting to it.

Brazil has a very large if not the largest Japanese diaspora in the world. He likely has Japanese ancestry like many Brazilians do.

Brazilians are legendary for naming their kids with other peoples last names hence names like Rickson, Jefferson, Wilson etc. and São Paulo and to a lesser degree Rio are full of ethnic Japanese and those who are ethnically mixed with Japanese

Although it was a mismatch, and we didn't know about Falcao, but Morrell Jr is something special.

He had a stellar amateur career of 130-2. He's so polished. I think he's got too much for Benavidez.

Dont forget about Peru as well. One of their former presidents was Japanese

This dude has been exciting to watch as a prospect but I still don’t know enough based on his levels of competition. I’m thinking Benevidez wrecks him in much the fashion as Plant. He hasn’t been prepared for that level.

When I saw that his lone loss was to Christopher Pearson, I knew dammmm well what Morrell was capable of doing. There's levels to this sport!
