Who will Hopkins fight for his tune up?

I read that Hopkins is going to have a tune up fight Dec 2 in Philly before his fight with Roy Jones in early 2010. He will probably want to fight someone aggressive because that is the style he does best against. I was thinking maybe he would fight Chris Henry or Adrian Diaconu, in an case he could probably get any LHW in the world he wants because who would turn down a fight with Hopkins? Still what if by some chance Johnson is able to beat Dawson? Hopkins should easily be able to beat a come forward aggressive fight like him who he had already beaten years ago and not only that, if Johnson is to win against Dawson then he would be Hopkins best opponent anyway. It would be a great win for Hopkins then going into the fight with Jones.....any ideas on who you think he will fight?

Adrian Diaconu is fighting Jean Pascal later on in the year so it won't be him. Johnson seems too high risk for a tune up fight imo.

        Diaconu is booked.

Henry would be good but he is too much of a caveman.

IMO he should fight Mack in a all out Philly fight.

But does he want a tune-up?

On second thought about Johnson, his fight with Dawson would be less than a month from when Hopkins wants his fight. I don't know if he would take it, but for a good pay day and Johnson being the type of fighter he is.....maybe?

Yes, he's said that he wants to take a tune-up fight, shake some cobwebs off since it'll have been over a year since he was in the ring. Since Roy's fighting that same day, it kind of makes sense. Hopkins shakes some cobwebs loose, fights off any rust, gets ready for Roy by going some rounds, hard fought rounds, my guess is somewhere around 8 or 9 is when he'd like to end the fight, if he can.

Not sure who would be a good choice, but I saw someone mention Campillo, who has a strap, which isn't a bad idea. that way if Hopkins OR Roy win, they have a belt and could unify with either Dawson-Johnson winner or Pascal-Diaconu winner.
