I don’t see him becoming champion he’ll probably be just about right outside the top 5 , he’ll have good fights . If he fought say a Mahkmudov or the other southpaw Kossobutskiy we’d know more . Of off one fight I’m not sold . And I think Hrgovic knocks him out in a rematch .
I am not sure what have you been watching.

It seemed like Hrgovic wanted to quit about 4 times. He went to his corner before the round even ended in some occasions.

And Joyce must learn how to block punches with his hands, not with his face, lol.

      It is not important.

There will be more than enough Asian casuals watching this part of history.

Trust me, Zhang is the biggest fight for Fury right now.

Well, only 300 million of them stayed up to 5+ hours after 10 PM their time to watch Zhang. I'd say they gave a ****. Your right they want to make money. It would not surprise me if the Chinese government or one of their controlled billionaires bid on the purse and host and promote the match in China. Think about it.

I wasn't talking about Uzbekistan. I was talking about China and India. Chagaev is a light skinned man with Caucasian features. Not a guy who you think of when talking about Asians.

Basketball is very popular in India and China, yet China has next to no players in the NBA and India has not have anyone of note. I think they never had one. American football? Forgetabout it! These two nations can't even do well in soccer if the world cup if it is any grade of the state of the game. They play it, trust me. Rugby, Track and field, Lacrosse, Wrestling, MAA, baseball and hockey? Negative. You name to sport, if they play it the Olympics and it's popular in the west, China and India are out of the medals. Is it an accident? I think not.

But Boxing is a world wide sport that has weight classes. They can do well in the extreme lower weights, but how may men are under 120 pounds have you meet? But Heavyweight, light heavy weight and middle weight? Nope. Not one since...well ever.

But Zhang is a a bit unicorn in build for China and one with 300+ million fans!
No, I don't think size is an issue..I highly doubt Zhang is the best China can produce. I find it hard to believe there aren't younger guys out there somewhere, they just need right coaching.
Zhang is enjoying his position as he done all right things, progressed the right way.

The average man is about 5'7" pounds in China. In their cites with all the process food ( imported by the west ) China's obesity rate is 20% . The nation Zhang is the best heavyweight they ever produced because he is 6'6" 260+ pounds. There aren't many men in China this big, and in case you missed it size matters a lot at heavyweight. There are no good heavyweights in the world at 200-210 LBS today. Show me one? Point made.

I took a look at Welter Weight and there are 13 Chinese professionals. If we move down to feather weight they are 15 pro's. But Heavyweight only two. Can you guess why this so?

Then why is he 40 and fighting as a B side or on under cards if he can draw such a big market?

It's not like they don't know about him, he won a medal at the Olympics.

Just because someone is from a big population, it doesn't necessarily mean that certain sports bring a big market.

Frank Warren thought he was going to tap into a huge Indian market when he signed Singh. He had won medals too. He quickly found out there wasn't the market he thought.

I'm sure it would garner a little bit interest among some sports fans in China if he fought someone like Fury. But the truth is people are basing this stuff off nothing, the market in China just isn't what people think. Different culture, different attitude towards most sports etc.

Zhang isnt going from being a Bside or on undercards to suddenly pulling 5 million fans from his arse.

If that market for him existed, you would know about it already.

Zhang is much bigger fight for Fury than anybody else except maybe Usyk.

If you don`t see this, I don`t know what to tell you.

You are probably only looking for excuses for Fury to get another easy fight "because he beats everybody else".

There's no world class Asians ie India or china in even lower divisions now also, which shows me they don't take boxing seriously. And if they did theyd at least have their boxers littered all over the lighter divisions right now.....but dont. The fa c.t. they don't is they dont take it serious.
If Ruiz can have success at 6ft, I dontbthink size is an issue. You don't need to be 6ft 6 like zhang. You can be 6ft 3 like usyk
