It sounds like one side made most of the demands, and the other side acquiesced. Negotiating usually implies compromise.
I feel no sympathy for Ryan. He's fighting Davis for the $$$, so he accepted whatever demands he had to. There was nothing stopping him from moving to 140 and fighting the top guys there. Davis and Garcia are both shameless opportunists. They are using each other.Comment

The main reason why reasonable discourse disappears here is because of how people personify their rebuttals to others. I don’t get what triggers people but that’s a whole different topic.
I tried to find a link that talks about the Oscar-Floyd reverse rehydration stipulation but couldn’t find it.
Often times when I respond to people here, I go off what I know because I do follow boxing religiously so I’ll still do my best to find a credible source and share it with you.
As for the link I provided, I was proving that Floyd contracted Oscar to promote 9 of his fights after Floyd had beaten him. Floyd could have used someone else or gone solo but he had enough respect for Oscar despite the shït talking Oscar was still doing. So yes, between Oscar and Floyd, I’d respect Floyd for that.
Oscar has turned into a Don King who says one thing today and switched the next day. He is a hypocriteComment

1 way rematch clause
weight in 2 hrs later than usual
10lb rehydration clause on second weigh in
why did tank fight barrios at 140 without any clause but refused to fight Garcia at 140 ?
I’m just saying Ryan went above and beyond to make this fight for himself and the fans not rank. Now you can either agree with my comments or disagree. I really don’t care. I will be eating popcorn and enjoying the fight either way.

I understand your views & opinions from your original Post
But Facts are Facts
You'll never find a link for the contracted Oscar/Floyd Reverse 152Lb Rehydration stipulation that's because there isn't any
Just go & watch the fight again listen to the commentators mention the 150lbs that Floyd entered the ring @ if he broke any said contract they would have mentioned it
I repeat Oscar never had any reverse rehydration 152Lb stipulation

Dude you don’t have to tell me to stfu. This is a boxing discussion forum and not an insult board. Go on facebook if you want to do that. Not sure where you read that I said ryan was a hero or I was worried about how the fight was made. I simply replied to your post and my point is that if tank had no concern with beating Ryan he wouldn’t have said

I realize I don’t have a leg to stand on so I will go watch the fight in its entirety. If I am mistaken, I will own it and apologize for my erroneous comment.
