I find it really silly that some people overthink sparring sessions especially when he was so young. Obviously, Haney has progressed tremendously and a fight with Stevenson wouldn't play out nearly the same as an old sparring session.

I agree with this but in the end, no one will know who won the fight and it is going to be hearsay from both fighters because everyone else watching the fight, including corners, cameramen, commentators and viewers, will be sleeping by round 5 of the fight.

Well at least Haney has both the character and the indomitable fortitude to admit that yes; Shakur did get the better of him most of the times when they sparred together as youngsters.

Haney-Stevenson is Nyquil in a ring. They'd have to absolutely stack the undercard with big hitters because that is an atrocious fight.
