Because he took three rounds to recover from being hurt.

Exactly. Let’s not act like he was taking shots fine until Prescott finally dropped him.

Linares wasn't known to be a big puncher & put Loma as well as Luke Campbell on his ass.. lol, sorry for breaking a false-narrative. I'd rather dominate a fighter for 10 rounds and get rocked then lose a 10-8 round. That's just me though.. I'm not a armchair casual, I know what actually matters in a 'fight'.
A flash-knockdown just means a guy recovers quickly, doesn't mean he isn't a little 'chinny'.
However getting dropped twice by a guy with a 30% ratio that has never scored a KD or stoppage against anyone in the top 100 or outside Spain is worrying. Josh Taylor is going to test that chin again.

He is ducking hard punchers. Also, he got rocked before. That's why.
Loma stopped Nakhatani, Linares & had Commey spent. Now all of a sudden he has average power when Haney is fighting him.. interesting - What hard punchers is Haney ducking? ffs

Flash knockdowns are ones where they fall and straight back up and not hurt or off balance so i don't read too much into them type of knockdowns like Teos or Ryan against Campbell or Thurman against Pacquiao those knockdown don't tell me anything about their chin. It's when seeing a fighter off balance and not regained their composure that does. With Haney if you watch he did get hurt and that is why he was going for that weird straight up hug and then hobbled to his corner off balance. Not saying that makes him chinny just comparing how Haney looked more hurt there
I hear you. Teo got stopped twice in sparring by Rayo. got dropped twice against Martin too, who doesn't have any power. Linares hit Haney with a good shot.. but that was a few years ago, some fans just hold dearly onto thing's. Floyd got buzzed against Maidana at the end in the 3rd of the rematch.. people somehow thought Pac would shake Floyd up because of this.

That's a good thing. Some fighters never would've recovered.. some fans have a weird infatuation with Haney.

In these specific scenarios I would rather be Lopez. Lopez got flash KD’ed, got up, and didn’t appear to be hurt.

Haney was punched by Linares and basically stumbled around the ring like a drunk for 3 rounds while also amusingly and blatantly hugging Linares. He looked like a damn fool in there after 1 punch.

To add insult to injury, Haney is bigger than Linares. Haney is a big LW and looked like THAT with one punch from an average puncher.

Being hurt for 3 rounds is not a good thing.

When you get buzzed from probing shots then run-n-hug like this for 2-3 rounds after and unable to recover, you got problems. Do you even watch Haney fight or like?

It's not necessarily that he's super chinny, but being bothered multiples times by light punching Diaz isn't a great sign. And there's probably a reason he holds so much.
