Hattons style is made for Fighters like Mayweahter and Marquez. This Would be a great PayDay for both guys but i doubt Hatton is going to risk Losing again without a tuneup first. Marquez will probably wait because what other options does he have, if he still wants a shot a PacMan. If JMM fights Katsidis and dominates, it means nothing since Casamayor and JDiaz already beat him. And if he struggles at all against the Aussie, JMM days of Big fights and Bigger Paydays are over considering his age. Now i do think a Katsidis v Marquez fight would be Great for boxing fans, hell i think even those UFC ****** would like it, but it probably would not be great for Marquez' career. However fighting Hatton(who kinda fights like the Aussie Katsidis) would do nothing but SkyRocket Marquez back to P4P status, if he wins of course. So if i had to pick one of the two, Hatton would be my choice too. JJM was able to convince Mayweather to come out of retirement, so i am pretty sure he will be able to do the same to Hatton. Mayweather saw Marquez as an easy win and ANother way to avoid the Top Dogs in the Welterweight Division without his followers jumping ship and i think Hatton will do the same. The only problem for Hatton is that he will get beaten by the smaller man again. But what other options does Hatton have. The way i see it Hatton has 3 choices. 1. Retire (good choice) 2. Fight top 140Lb guys like Bradley, Holt, Maidana, Alexander (not a good choice and **** Khan) 3. Fight Marquez (Best Choice). Now many people will say Khan is a better choice than Marquez because of some British non-sense but lets get serious. Khan v Hatton pretty much gets no PPV buys in america and would only be entertaining to their families and Roach(has herpes). Also Khan is a runner and would not be willing to mix it up with Hatton until the end of the fight when they embrace. The main reason is that if Hatton beats Khan, who would ****ing care. Marquez on the otherhand would fight Hatton Toe to Toe and be a much more entertaining Fight and lets not forget would be a big PPV Payday for both guys. Will Hatton win? Probably not, but Ricky will look at what Floyd did to Marquez and think he can do the same if not better. And by beating JMM, Hatton would re-establish himself back to the top of his division without beating anyone who is already there... kinda like Floyd.

this would be a great fight but a tough one for both fighters...people automatically assume that since hatton got ktfo twice he's got a glass jaw...GLASS JAW my ****ing ass look back in his career the guy to a **** load of punishment and never got KO'd until PBF then he had a **** training camp for the pac fight (which is no excuse) but still i think he's got what it takes to beat JMM...and as for JMM he didnt look too impressive against PBF but then again it is PBF...and reading a lot of these post recently people are sayin that JMM is no good at heavier weights he's had one damn fight up in the scales and it was against PBF who is an amazing fighter...the way that i see it a lot of people on this site are WAY too quick to judge a fighter after one fight...this is a good fight for boxing and one that can go either way...if it happens i will bet all my points (that i have after the final bell) on hatton anyone in?Comment
