Ryan imo probably feels like hey I'll roll the dice if I win cool but if I lose I can move on to other things. One foot out the door is never a good thing in this sport.
I get that feeling also BUT if so, what exactly does Ryan think he's going to do? Far as I know, he has no other qualifications. If he's not a boxer, wtf is he?

They call themselves "influencers" I believe. He also has a few endorsement deals with Gatorade,Gym Shark apparel,Dior etc... but those are obviously predicated on his success in the ring sans Dior.

Does anyone else here think that a draw between these two is possible? I've started to wonder...

Very plausible. A lot of money to be left on the table if not. Since it's a 1 way rematch ONLY if Tank loses,or draws,it's not out of the realm we get a controversial draw...Ala Canelo/GGG 1.

I hear ya these guys think they'll become some huge Hollywood attraction but that never happens. They like you because you're a good boxer and as long as you keep winning they'll side with you but the minute you're done they'll be done with you.

              Naw I don't see it.

Remember this is a pbc show with everything on Tank side.. officials, gloves, weight etc. For it to be a draw that means Ryan would have to beat him in a dominant fashion with a couple KDs then pbc will do their magic with the cards.

              Ryan 10-2 or 9-3 with KDs= draw

With thAt said I don't see Ryan's chin holding up for 12 rds. He'll get caught eventually.

Must be the money. I agree with those who say Ryan's career won't be a long one but credit to him for taking this fight. It was probably the only one feasible at the minute that would make him serious $$$ though. If he wins, a fight with the Haney-Lomachenko winner or Shakur would be pretty big but still not of the calibre of this fight. Made me laugh when his team seemed to be floating the idea of him fighting Prograis for presumably 25% of the money of this fight - absolutely no way they were going there! He'd have been decimated.

Deep down I think Ryan knows he is limited as a fighter. If he is going to risk a loss he wants to do it on a big payday, not against some underdog for short money. This is also the reason Tank is taking this fight. They are both marginal fighters afraid of risking that 0 against elite level competition. Even more afraid of losing that 0 to a hyped up underdog on a non-PPV fight.
