I don't think Frank Martin is willing to cross the street. He is promoted by Earl Spence.
The guy who popularized the "wrong side of the street" term that is now used by almost everyone in the sport.
What Davis is saying is, "I'm here, make me an offer and I'm willing to fight on the Crawford/Spence undercard."

So Martin's promoter has to make Davis an offer for a fight that Davis is calling for?
I think it should be the other way around.

Yeah, it's been happening since time immemorial. Lara calling out Golovkin.
Jermall calling out Golovkin, etc. Did you see Lara and Charlo sending offers to Golovkin?
How about Haney calling out Loma, Teo, Kambosos, Garcia, did you see DAZN making offers to those guys?
There's been plenty of examples.

Stop all of this talking unless you're showing the offer that was turned down. Fighters are bluff. Have your promoter offer a deal and go from there if you want the fight. Talking to reporters without having an offer sent is suspect and doesn't show you want it.

We don't know if Davis is allowed to fight outside of TR for a one-fight deal. The media needs to ask him about that.
Similarly, Martin needs to talk to Earl Spence if it can happen, assuming Davis is permitted to. Nobody knows.
The media just want to cover what they want to cover leaving fans with no choice but to speculate.

I'm positive neither would have second thoughts of fighting one another but there's really no incentive for eithers promoter to make this fight right now.Not a fan of marination but neither are known nor have accomplished anything yet to make it worth while for the parties involved. A year or two from now if they keep circling each other and winning,which Davis will have a tougher time doing onsidering the talent Bob has at 135, then maybe....
