    There's been plenty of examples.
Yes, I understand. I'm not saying it doesn't happen just that it strikes me as pointless! Thanks.

To be fair, both fighters need to prove they're serious by talking to their promoters first.
We don't know if Davis is allowed to fight outside of TR for a one-fight deal. The media needs to ask him about that.
Similarly, Martin needs to talk to Earl Spence if it can happen, assuming Davis is permitted to. Nobody knows.
The media just want to cover what they want to cover leaving fans with no choice but to speculate.
I'm positive neither would have second thoughts of fighting one another but there's really no incentive for eithers promoter to make this fight right now.Not a fan of marination but neither are known nor have accomplished anything yet to make it worth while for the parties involved. A year or two from now if they keep circling each other and winning, which Davis will have a tougher time doing onsidering the talent Bob has at 135, then maybe....

The way Keyshawn Davis talks you would think he's the next coming of Pernell Whitaker, Jab Judah, Floyd Mayweather & Hector Chamacho all rolled in one, I wish I could tell him to calm the hell down and go sit in the corner for a minute, dammmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Id love to see it but I don't wanna hear anything until it's announced. F all of this "hypothetical" talk because that's all it is, TALK.

What Davis is saying is, "I'm here, make me an offer and I'm willing to fight on the Crawford/Spence undercard."

It's not so simple to make fights happen in this sport. Even when fighters are in the same promotional company. But if Davis wants it and willing to cross the street and Martin says fk marinating it. Then, the next step, if it moves at all, is for Martin's promoter Spence to send an offer to Davis. Otherwise, the media needs to stop covering this story. There are other fights out there without similar issues that are worth covering.
