I don't know why when PBC haven't even tried giving any offer to Haney.
He was a free agent for years and Arum and Hearn were the only people
who gave him opportunities to be where he is today. PBC got nothing for him.
Haney never really wanted to leave Hearn. He panicked when he learned his contract will not be renewed. Hearn said, "I've got nothing more for you, son."

That's when Haney began his campaign to confront Garcia, Loma, Teo, Kambosos, and it ended with his last ditch effort with Jojo Diaz. None of those guys were formally given any offers, except Diaz. Linares and Gamboa were courtesy fights and were no longer within the contract, just to keep Haney stay a bit longer. Hearn then offered Haney as a replacement for Romero. Ellerbe was furious and turned it down.

What I don't get is why didn't Hearn make any offer to Commey, Nakatani, Pedraza? Guys who can fight anywhere. Commey is handled by Dibella, Nakatani with his Japanese promoter, Pedraza fought Tank on Showtime...

I doubt higher IQ. Timing, Time the clinch?
Defence, well he only jabs. What opening is there. All Loma has to do is the take the Jab away.

Most of Lomas opponents are bigger, nothing new.

Faster at what? At jabing? He doesn't throw many combinations.

2019? Anthony Crolla? LOL what an elite well known superstar!
Teo and pops made that fight happen. They were forcing Top Rank to make the fight for 2 years at that point. Teo also had the IBF, a title Loma was trying to get. With Loma being the "Franchise" champion version of the title Haney was awarded....plus Haney was on DAZN I believe. Teo even challenged Haney at one point in time before getting his title(s)

That is just amazing to me for anyone calling Devin an e-mail champion. If he is, then Lennox Lewis was one too back in 1992; When Rid**** Bowe had decided to duck him for the WBC heavyweight title.
Lennox WAS considered that at the time. He was then **** on even more for losing to McCall. Relax on the revisionism. Lennox was constantly disrespected until he beat Golota and Briggs back to back. Hell, he had to beat Holyfield TWICE to get some respect.

Crolla and Campbell were better known than Haney in 2019.

Who the fck is talking about Teofimo Lopez? Also Teofimo Lopez had a much better resume than Haney when Loma fought him. Everyone did. Campbell, Crolla, Teo, Linares.

Would be crazy if Lomachenko stops Haney. Won’t be surprise since we’ve seen Mendoza chop down Fundora and Zhang surgically dissected Joyce eye.

JoJo Diaz got past the jab, repeatedly had Haney along the ropes, and hit him cleanly repeatedly. Haney was very hittable in that fight. Honestly, I don't understand why people think Haney is a master boxer.

Anyone who isn't a nut hugger knows that Devin is going to outbox Loma. it would've happened in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, result would've been the same.

He did not get stripped. WBC invented the franchise and Loma team made the mistake of accepting it so they gave the normal wbc to Haney and elevated Loma to ****** franchise. I think WBC intended it to be the main one like WBA super but their plan hasn't worked out. And also ruins Teos legacy as although i consider it undisputed, his win now will always be a disputed undisputed with people not agreeing. And it's not down to him technically he won Loma who had won the proper WBC belt.

What i never got is why Lomas team accepted it i think there was confusion about franchise with like i mentioned them maybe thinking it was going to be like a wba super. Normally for undisuted wbc would have authorised it to go ahead so wbc should have just let Teo Loma happen and Haney wait, without making up the whole franchise stuff

Haney had fought no one at that point, Lomas priority was to fight Teo who had the last belt which makes sense, every boxer and fan would also want to see undisputed over mandatory. I've mentioned it before but it's funny how fans love claiming undisputed trumps mandatory, and will always complain about mandatories potentially coming in the way of undisputed and wanting to see undisooted fights. Yet Loma wanted undisputed and suddenly its a problem with people claiming he ducked Haney. Doesn't make sense, at that point Teo was also the bigger threat
