He said it’s only going to get worse in 2019, he called it. Doesn’t need to be thankful.. but Loma definitely should be regretful he didn’t fight him sooner. Now his careers down the drain and it hasn’t lived up to expectations.

Regretful? As far as I have seen in Loma he begged for these title shots. Kambosos would have happened for him had it not for the war. It didn't have to be Haney. Where is "regret" pictured in any of these? If you mean he should have beat then amateurish Haney if he fought him earlier, then I would probably agree. But as a real fan of the sport, is Loma having fought a more deserving Lopez, instead, with better skills and far better resume than Haney, not better for the sport?

Loma fans are downright crazy. Teo struggled life and death with Nakhatani who was virtually unknown around the time.. public perception of Teo was that he was a hypejob and Loma was going to take him to the matrix, the odds were not close. Prior to the fight I hadn’t seen one Loma fan say ‘oh this will be a tough fight’ it was easy pickings on paper. Stylistically Haney was the tougher fight. Few years later nothing has changed.. Teo still continues to struggle and now the world is saying Haney beats Loma easily. Loma got his karma for requesting franchise & ducking. Teo got his karma for shaking that man’s hand & agreeing to fight then proceeding to duck. Haney is the biggest throwback fighter in the division.. the only fighter that’s called out virtually every top name, never seen a fighter undisputed and pursuing and calling out challengers. I think Shakur sits on top of the thrown and becomes the ATG when it’s all said and done.

Delusional fan. Teo fought better opposition than Haney. He didn't have retired Gamboa and Linares in his resume. I doubt Haney would beat huge Nakatani even today.

If Lomachenko fought Gamboa, yeah, I would have concurred with this guy. But Loma fought a more deserving and far more skilled fighter than you.

And I don't know why this guy keeps repeating this same nonsense. He's with DAZN and Loma is with TR. Many fights with boxers on the same platform are not even easy to make, let alone with competing platforms. I don't even remember DAZN making an official offer to Loma. It's just been all noise.

I guess fighters need to start calling out fighters, then cry duck if it doesn't happen. Sending offers in not necessary.

I agree with everything except Shakur sitting on the throne. I think Shakur and Tank will be a great fight, but at some point, Tank will hurt him, and the fight changes.

Would love that fight. I believe Shakur has more ‘dog’ in him than people think tho. He’s more than just a technical elitist

It wasn't that Loma didn't want to fight Haney, but that there were other guys he wanted to fight more than he wanted to fight Haney. Loma wanted to be an undisputed champion and to achieve that he needed to fight the other champions in his division. Haney wasn't one of them. But he is now!

If Lomachenko fought Haney back then, instead of Lopez, fans would have attacked Loma much more viciously for ducking Lopez. It would have been the same garbage we are seeing now. It's a fkd up sport with fkd up fans.

I won't be surprised if Loma beats Haney.

Haney is naturally bigger and he's younger and fresher of course, But he's a pure boxer, like Loma, and he doesn't have a lot of power, so his size advantage may not be as much of an advantage as it would have been if he was a more physical fighter, if you get my meaning. In a battle of skills vs skills, Loma's experience may trump Haney's youth and extra height and range. It's going to be a very interesting fight.

I think a misconception is that ‘pure boxers’ don’t have dog in them or can only fight a certain way. Haney isn’t a one trick puppy.. most elite ‘pure’ boxers aren’t. In the Linares fight he was on the front foot, out-landing and pushing Linares back for the majority of the fight. He barely used his jab. Loma can’t fight on the backfoot.. I’ve seen him look very uncomfortable being pushed back.

That being said, if Commey & Nakhatani’s size advantage had no effect I don’t see why Haney’s suddenly would. This is why I want no excuses.

Keyshawn Davis has been calling out Frank Martin. I guess we can all say Martin ducked Davis if fight is not made. And if the fight is made three years from now, Davis should continually repeat Martin regretting he avoided him years ago. So stuuupiiid...
