But he’s extremely technically limited and his boxing IQ is quite low.

I think a Freddie roach would be good for him.
He got dropped HARD a few fights ago and looked pretty bad his last fight…he needs to make changes before he’s knocked out not after.
Right, he is not a total bum and he could win a world title, but he needs mayor improvement.
That is just my opinion, from the outside looking in.

Lee is what I consider a part time fighter
He doesn’t fight the whole three minutes and it showed in his last fight , when the opponent has good stamina
Definitely needs a top trainer if he wants to go forward in his career

Underrated fighter imo, but he did himself no favors not being active and fighting subpar competition.

Same with Omar Aguilar, what ever happened to him though?

Sometimes I criticise some fighters for copying that safety first American style. Hands down, left hanging low, but that's because they're not doing it right. Without the speed and head / upper body movement, they look cartoonist. In Lee's case, he could use a little evasion by trickeration. Show boat some defense.

Agree on all of what you said. The physical talent is there but he hasn't really developed in the fights I've seen. The recent adversity hasn't left an L on his record but hopefully it's enough to convince him he needs to make changes.

I agree it was a good self analysis until he said he thought he won easy. He talks about all the mistakes he made and that he'd give himself a 5.5/10 for the performance but he also beat Campa easy. Which one is it? Personally I thought it was a draw or Campa slightly edged it. I like watching Lee because he puts on a show for the fans but if he wants any kind of longevity in the sport he needs to mind his defence, use his jab and range more and not get drawn into brawls as often.

I’ve noticed ever since Ed Brown died, Bandun’s bf, he seems to have lost some love for the sport. They were close af. He does need a new trainer. I think he would do well with a Stephen Edward’s or even a Virgil Hunter
