Unfortunatelly Wilder is not willing to fight anybody dangerous. This bum is preparing for Ngannou next.

Some fighters can change some will behave dif for a few minutes or rounds then they revert back to type. It sounds strange and looks even more ****** in the ring but it happens to be that way. Yea people reinvent themselves in the ring but only to a degree. It is part of boxing, always has been always will be.

Zhang was tactically serving energy since he knew that a tko or even a ko was a question oftime, he concentrated on peppering that right eye and hitting the temple. JJ was throwing more punches but they were ineffective because Zhang didn't allow him to get his range properly. Zhang was still very fresh when the bout got stopped. Zhang was the far better boxer with a similar power or even more powerful than JJ.

JJ will wear that bird leg out and knock out worse than Fury did.

JJ is a good humble person. He needs to work more on his boxing skills.

Last line, third paragraph: "For the first time in his pro career, Joyce tasted defeat, in the most"

Who even knows what that is supposed to mean?

Anyway, I still like Joe Joyce. Good lad, big heart, massive pair of cojones, slow as molasses, always entertaining. Can't really argue with the stoppage, though I suspect he could have lasted at least to the end of the sixth without taking major damage. I think he could see out of the damaged eye , but I can see the ref and the doctor's pov that it was better to err on the side of caution.

I hope Joe recovers full and comes back to the ring soon. It's going to be interesting to see Zilhei Zhang's next fight also. I doubt people will be lining up to face him.

I'd like to see that fight too. They should make that. I'd go 80% for Wilder but there's always a difference between fighters. Wilder doesn't have that huge size. It would be interesting to see. But given Wilder was scared to get in with Ruiz, it seems unlikely he would even fight Joyce. Wilder probably would only fight Usyk or Fury - just because with the belts as a reward he can take that risk

You and 88.735% of all the other boxing fans and "experts". I think we all looked at the match-up and thought Joyce COULD lose, but there were not a ton of us calling it. I had Joyce by late round TKO. Then, somewhere in the middle of the first round Zhang landed a 5 punch combo that Joyce just let happen, and by the end of the third all I could think was "Welp.... we all got this one wrong."
