It would be fun while it lasted though.

It would be a fun fight, but I would favor Wilder.

Rankings is who you beat. Who did Ortiz beat, how high was his ranking. Was that win for wilder that good?

Anyone with half an ounce of intelligence would. That being said, Zhang is credible fighter on the world level. His style would pose problems for Wilder early on. It's definitely an interesting fight. While I would favor Wilder, I wouldn't write Zhang off entirely.

You can go look up who Ortiz beat. And yes, it was an extremely good win for Wilder. Why? Because people knew how dangerous Ortiz was. Andy Ruiz went life and death with him four years later!

I don't write Zhang off either, I think it's a good fight. Would like to see Zhang make it to the championship rounds again to get a better idea of his conditioning.

It is a good fight for both parties. I would much rather have seen Ruiz vs. Wilder, but once again Andy seems to need to get his act 2gether. This isn't exactly a bad alternative. We'll see where Zhang stands against someone in the top 5, and Deontay takes a stay-busy fight against a credible opponent. I'm all for it.

A hard fact again is Zhang has already proven to be better then Ortiz . It would mean more to Wilder to get a win here and he should but it’s not a give me and it’s a big money fight for Zhang who like Usyk has limits on who he would be a draw with . These guys who don’t speak English hurt their own marketability .

Zhangs reach is very short for his height at only 78 inches so Wilder might just survive a huge shot here ? Speed wise they aren’t much different, if Zhang can take some shots though Wilders in big trouble because he cannot defeat any top guys unless he stops them .
