I guess i picked Hrgovic by accident but put me down for Zang. That is why I thought Joyce being favored over Zang by -1000 was WAY too high.

I was in the minority and had Hrgovic edging it on workrate.

Zhang hurt him a few times and I didn't like Hrgovic's body language at all and thought he looked awful but I simply thought Zhang p1ssed too many rounds away doing very little.

I tend to agree. The knockdown looked like a borderline rabbit punch and he gassed out and allowed Hrgovic to edge it but it was so close it looked like a draw was logical too.

Hrgovic clearly won. The only people who think Zhang won are casuals who think they are boxing experts because they watched a YouTube video about boxing. Zhang started strong and faded late. Hrgovic picked up as the bout went along and threw and landed more punches. Boxing is also scored by rounds. The person who wins the most rounds wins the bout. Not the person who lands the harder punches but lands way less of them.

The haters are out in full in full force, but of you score the fight round by round you will come up with the right winner. Zhang showed good defense and power, and fought an off focus Hrgovic who didn't show up for any pre-fight stuff. Something was bothering him. Maybe Zhang's southpaw style. The knock down was a cuffing blow behind the head / combination pull down. Not chin or balance related.

Do you have those stats broken down by round? That might be interesting to see.

Although fights aren’t judged based on jabs landed or even on Punch Stats in general.

Zhang didn't do enough to win that fight is all I can remember. It was no robbery that's for sure.

Look at Hrgovic now, he got his decision fighting Zhang and there is no fight for him on horizon. I would expect him to get some fight.

Obviously Zhang has better handlers. The loss to Hrgovic was actually a very good thing for Zhang. If he had got a decision, he would have been on Hrgovic`s place now.
